I’ve been at Book Expo America (BEA) in Los Angeles since yesterday learning about how to publish in a digital world. I’ve been learning a lot and have been connecting with experts in the area. So many authors and publishing companies don’t know how to attract online audiences, so the faster I learn, the more chances I have of developing a strong market presence.

Yesterday, I just went to the seminars. Today, the exhibit floors were open and there were lots of people. I only went into the exhibits for a little bit. Tomorrow, I will help David Mathison of Be The Media at his booth while he is signing books. He is the one who told me about self-publishing and how I should look into publishing the book myself and make more money and connect directly to my readers. I am also going to meet with another writer on Sunday who is self published. Her focus is on women travelers.

I’m getting closer and closer to publishing!!!
