These are my articles and stories written about various episodes of my life in California. I wrote the piano bar article since one of my favorite pastimes when I lived in the Grand Lake area in Oakland was to sing in the piano bar at the bottom of the hill where my home was. I reveled in the pre-1960s show tunes and old classics.
