National Palace Museum in Taipei
This museum has the world’s largest collection of Chinese art, more than the museums in mainland China. I went into the rare books sections and was amazed. Even though I don’t read Chinese, I was impressed by the quality of the ancient texts.

The idea of posting these photos about a Tibetan Temple now seems sacrosanct. I am in China now and the Chinese government is blocking media reports about the protests in Lhasa. I can’t even view my own blog. These are photos from a gorgeous Tibetan Buddhist temple in southern Taiwan.
